This big size was made specifically for our massive bernese mountain dogs who could easily rip through smaller rolls. It's a thick hide roll made to slow down even the most aggressive chewers. While some dogs may finish it all in one go, it's best to gradually introduce them to animal hair by starting with a smaller size. If the hair and scent seem strange to them, try placing the treat in a ziplock bag with their regular food to help them adjust. Remember not to overfeed them hair, as it can cause digestive issues for some dogs. We recommend starting at not more than one of these rolls a week for your dog, but always monitor your dog's well-being and adjust their diet accordingly.
